Christmas Eve

It all began with Christmas eve, this year we had a Stallings family (except for Jed and Emily) dinner at my in-laws to start the Christmas weekend. Terri ordered a huge Blimpie sub for everyone, no picture sorry, I know the folks back home would get a kick out of seeing a Blimpie sub, because they are huge and just awesome (3-6ft long and it feeds like a million people).

The best part of the night was having our good friends from Geelong, Australia join us, Bishop Walshe and Jenny his wife were here picking up their lovely daughter Brianna from her Temple Square mission. We were so glad that they were able to come see us and meet the whole family and just catch up on good old times. Bishop Walshe was my very first Bishop in the church. He is an amazing person, I have a lot of love and respect for him. His daughters are beautiful and we hope they decide to come back one day and either study here or marry a lucky fella *wink*
We had a great night with the Walshe's they are such a lovely family and we are all very proud of Brianna for her contribution at Temple Square, she is so talented and beautiful. I'm sure there are countless opportunities coming her way.

Singing Christmas songs

We played the chimes, decorated sugar cookies for Santa, the kids all got dressed up and did a little Nativity story while we all sang Christmas songs and of course we did a lot of eating. The boys love spending time with their cousins, they always have a blast. But this Christmas eve we had three naughty little boys Alex, Noah and Caden getting up to mischief. The three amigos got in to Grandma Stallings food storage and knocked down every single can in their reach!!! I would say there was easily a 100+ (2 years supply). I don't have a pic, but it was a disaster. Luckily, the husbands cleaned it up and re-organized everything.  Phew!

I love how Noah is adding to the whole Christmas spirit - yes he loves picking his nose.

To be continued......Christmas day!
