Fourth of July

We had such a blast last Thursday celebrating our favorite holiday! We woke up early and had a family breakfast at Village Inn and then drove to Temple Square and the Conference Center to take the tour. The kids hadn't even been inside and seen the 21000 seat auditorium and the beautiful rooftop gardens. We always learn so much about our Church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and all the little facts and beautiful paintings displayed that always seem to amaze me with the interested stories that go behind the story. I love that my boys are able to start understanding everything a bit better. We are certainly grateful that we live so close to such a wonderful place of enrichment. We try not to take it for granted either. We were able to feel the spirit and be uplifted for the rest of the day. We walked around Temple Square and went to the visitors centre and looked inside the model replica of the Salt Lake City Temple which is fascinating and at the same time very educating for anyone who hasn't been inside to see what it actually looks like. Liam was asking a lot of questions and I felt proud and honor to be able to answer them. Always worth the time to go downtown and see it all.

We came home and we all had quite time before we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Stallings house for dinner and family time. Dinner is always delicious and spectacular layout of fresh foods all prepared by us  and each bring something to share. After dinner we play games, talk and ride horses. Once we were done there we left and headed to our neighborhood for a fire works show which was not disappointing at all. We finally fell asleep around 10.30! The kids loved that, except Blair :)
