Mr. & Mrs.Cole

Over the weekend one of the sweetest couples we know got hitched! The ceremony and reception was at Kelton's brother's home in Pepperwood. It was magical, everything from the alter to the delicious food. They thought of everything, I just loved how it was set up. It was really relaxing and peaceful. The ceremony was beautiful, when Jessica walked down the aisle with her Dad, I started tearing up, Kelton was waiting for his stunning Bride at the alter with such a proud look on his face. It was precious. We couldn't be more happier for them. They are really the cutest couple and we can't wait to hang out with them! Love you guys and congratulations!

Smores and More

My brother has been wanting to go up the canyon for a pit fire bbq and just a good ole hang out session up in the mountains all week. We went for a hike last week and he saw how many had their fires going and the smell of wood was in the air and the wheels were turning in his head. We went up on Friday with some friends and family. We tried not to make a big deal out of it, we found a pretty cool spot and set up our bbq and fire pit. It was so much fun! I love how close we are to Big Cottonwood canyon, there are plenty spots up there. We stayed till it was really dark and just toasted marshmallows and my favorite, starburts! There is nothing like sitting around a wood fire and just talking and eating sweet, sugary goodness with amazing friends. By the end of the night, the kids were so dirty, no-one even cared, they had such a great time. I like taking a little break from everything, (mobile phone) and just relaxing. I think we just might have ourselves a new family tradition!

 Happy Birthday Meindert!

June Weddings

We had three couples tie the knot this month...
Jake  and Torah. They are the sweetest couple. Seriously. So in love. Clint grew up next door to him. Torah is an Aussie (kind of a big deal in AUS), so whenever I have a chance to chat to her, I feel like I'm back home for a sec. They were sealed in the SLC Temple by President Uchtdorf. They had a lovely garden reception at a house on Walker lane. The layout was magical. It was small and intimate. My favorite part was the dancing! Gotta shake your booty at an Aussie wedding...

P.S Torah won the Gold medal for the women's Half Pipe this year.
I feel mighty proud to be an AUSSIE!
AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE

June Weddings

Anna and Dave.
She is a friend that I kind of stole from Emily Shaeffer.
We call her Anna Smith well Anna Dunn now. She is one of sweetest girls I know.
With a heart of gold... They had their reception at the Cactus and Tropical.
She looked gorgeous of course and Dave was looking dashing. I must admit I loved their engagement pictures taken by Rachel Thurston, you can check them out here.
My favorite part was seeing Emily walk into the bathroom randomly as I was fixing my dress and thinking who the heck is going to catch me in the act (I had my dress pulled up). We both screamed like little girls and hugged.

Miss Emily 6 months pregnant

June Weddings

Dennis and Mia.
The first wedding was in Melbourne (so sad that we couldn't attend). I have known Dennis and Mia for a very long time (15 years). I remember Dennis talking about his perfect girl. She needs to be "Euroasian" meaning half European half Asian. I thought, good luck with that.  I knew Mia through an Ex and we all use to hang out cause our boyfriends were best mates. Light bulb went on in my head. Mia is half Danish half Philippino. Ding, Ding we have a match. So I introduced them not long after that. Fast forward 5 years and we have Mr. and Mrs. Li... They have two little boys Paris and Cayden.

Surprise visit from Maryland

Last Thursday I received a call from Sheryl saying that she was outside our front door.
So I called Clint and told him there is a special surprise waiting for us on our porch.
He beat me home but when I got home there she was!
Thanks Sheryl for coming to visit us! We loved seeing you!

 She is so pretty
{yes, she is single & available *wink*}

Look at that goofy smile, gotta love him
P.S Liam was crushing on Sheryl the whole time.

Thanksgiving Point

Museum of Ancient Life

We visited the museum with the Boyakins last Friday. We stayed for hours, the kids loved it.

Love these guys, such sweet kids. We let them run around til there hearts were content.
We even had two lunch breaks lol, they didn't want to leave.

Liam was in his element, he is still going through a major Dinosaur obsession.
I loved seeing his face light up every time he saw a Dinosaur that he recognized.
The last time we were at the museum was 2 years ago.
{Flashback pic}

Liam was 2 y.o

Connelly, Judson and Liam

The 'space' was a hit, they loved running around in circles.
It was pitch black with a million stars. I asked them to say "scary". Love the look on Liam's face.

I love this little girl, Cassiddy.

Noah & Cassiddy

Mammoth Egg

Overall, it was a fantastic day. I would recommend it to anyone. We spent hours in their and never got bored once. I'm even thinking of purchasing a family membership.

Summer! (finally)

One thing the kids and I love is the POOL...
It's probably our favorite thing to do in the summer.
We love to swim and lay and eat by the pool.
We didn't waste any time this year...
