Our Summer of Fun
We had a little seafood bbq feast last night at our place. My step-brother and his girlfriend are here from Melbourne doing a US tour of the greatest cities and we made it on the list!
Arash and Farnoosh are such a cute couple. We have been showing them around Salt Lake and giving them the tour. It's been a full house, but we don't mind, the kids love it.
They are going to be missed, they leave tonight for New York. Let's see, we have been to Silver Lake hike, hung out at the pool, Gateway mall, Snowbird ski resort hot tub, lots of
delicious dinners, we are heading to Temple square today and then followed by a scrumptious dinner at Famous Dave's and then after dinner we are going horse riding. Will the fun ever stop?
I don't know, I hope not, I am dreading the end of summer, so sad. I'm pretty sure I will shed a few tears.

Dinosaur Museum
I forgot to put these pics up from our trip to our favorite place.
I think it's safe to say that every time I go, I'm the one usually being dragged out by the kids. I'm really fascinated by the Museum of Ancient Life. I can spend hours in there just reading and staring. We had a lot of fun. My brother loved it too, he hadn't seen anything like it.
Noah really disliked the water and sand play area.
I think I washed his hands a bunch of times.
I asked him to go and get ready for the day, this is how come down all ready to go. He was so proud of himself for getting his hair to stand up like that (he used half a jar of wax).

My Summer of Love
We have been enjoying the summer so much lately...
Popsicle's on the porch.
Swimming in the late afternoon.
The smell of sunscreen and coconut tanning oil.
Bratwurst's on the BBQ.
Early morning walks at the park.
Watering our garden.
Sitting on the grass in the sun.
Windows down while driving on the interstate.
Walking around the Gateway.
Clint putting his gorilla suit on and scaring the neighbors.
Love it all...
Love summer.Noah wasn't even scared!

Memorial Weekend
The Stallings family gather every year on Memorial weekend to remember our loved ones that have passed on. I personally love this tradition, I never grew up with anything like this. My favorites part is when we visit each grave and usually Great Grandpa Stallings talks about the memories or in general about a topic of his choosing. I can listen to him for hours. His pearls of wisdom never cease to stop amazing me.
We have breakfast together Saturday morning and than we all drive to the cemetery in Holladay. In the evening we visit Cari Ann, she was Clint's younger sister that passed away when she was about a month old. Later on Clint's parents have a bbq with all the family and we just hang out and eat and just catch up.
